For forty years, YCAT has been at the forefront of discovering, nurturing and supporting extraordinary early-career professionals, easing their transition from talented students to accomplished performers. Their work plays a vital role in the world of classical music, developing important artistic careers that continue to thrive, inspire and bring joy to audiences around the world.

YCAT has been instrumental in the success of over 130 gifted musicians including prominent UK international artists such as Ian Bostridge CBE, Alison Balsom OBE, Joanna MacGregor CBE, and the renowned Belcea, Doric & Heath String Quartets.

YCAT Artists form some of the most talented and promising musicians of their generation, selected annually over three rounds by an esteemed international jury.

Please note that YCAT Artist fees are to be discussed with YCAT’s artist management team directly. There is no subsidy available.

Promoters can check the availability of each artist by completing their booking form, which is sent to YCAT, who will manage the booking process on behalf of the artist.
